Farmer Led, Future Focused

We certify our farm annually through Certified Naturally Grown (CNG), a national farmer-led standard. Through yearly peer inspection, farmers hold one another accountable while learning new practices for our ever-changing climate. The rigorous standards of CNG include farming without the use of synthetic chemicals, GMO seed and in the case of animals, prophylactic worming and vaccinations. The grassroots management and reporting structure keeps costs down and allows small farms to participate in a certification standard stricter than the National Organic Program (NOP) without the excessive annual fees. CNG also requires beneficial farming practices such as farm border buffers, windbreaks and the compost 90/120 rule, all methods of sustainable farming which make CNG products better for the planet and safer for the consumer.
