Yonderyear Farm is committed to participating in our local economy of Rockbridge County and its surrounding areas of Virginia. We believe that centering our business around where we live promotes a unique and thriving region, diverse in people and professions. And a limited geographical business area lowers our need for all sorts of farming necessities from fuel to animal feed. What if more people could find the goods and services they need right in their back yard? We’re not naive enough to think international commerce is a thing of the past, but we do think supporting local agriculture is one of the best ways for money to stay near rather than far, lowering the global carbon footprint in the process.
